What is the National Databank?
The National Databank is like a food bank, but for mobile data. It provides free SIM cards and data vouchers to people who are struggling to afford an internet connection. With thousands of organisations registered across the UK, the databank is helping to tackle digital exclusion by ensuring that everyone can stay connected.
How can you help your community?
If you are part of a community organisation, you can access free mobile data to support your members by joining the National Digital Inclusion Network. This network, led by The Good Things Foundation, consists of grassroots organisations across the country working to promote digital inclusion. By becoming a member, you’ll be able to:
- Distribute free mobile data to those who need it
- Apply for funding opportunities to enhance your digital inclusion efforts
- Receive free training and resources to support your community
- Connect with other organisations through networking opportunities
- Use the Learn My Way platform for digital skills training
Joining the network is free and easy
Signing up to the National Digital Inclusion Network is completely free. Once you join, you’ll be eligible to access the National Databank and stay connected. All you need to do is register and apply for access to mobile data support.
